- There are 2 phases of correction with Ultherapy. The first stage is collagen contracture, which occurs during the procedure. You may notice a subtle improvement in your appearance within a few days. The more impressive correction stage is from collagen stimulation and takes more time. Your body will respond to the pin point thermal injuries placed deep in the tissue by creating new collagen fibers. This stage can take up to several months, with final results taking up to 6 months! These new collagen fibers can last up to 5 years! However, small touch ups are recommended to be performed every 4-12 months or large full treatments are recommended every 1.5-2 years depending on the individual!
